
The area provides an excellent base for hill walkers (high and low level), fishing (your holiday includes fishing rights on Loch Damph, boat arranged separately with bank fishing free), sea kayaking and wildlife. www.torridon.org
The National Trust for Scotland have a Countryside Centre at Torridon (two miles) and The Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve run by Scottish Natural Heritage is at Kinlochewe (twelve miles)
The cottage is located within five minutes walk of The Torridon Inn, a high quality bistro style restaurant using local produce and a bar (open March to October).
The Torridon Hotel, in the same location, provides a more up-market choice (open all year).

The local village stores in Shieldaig (five miles) provide good basic supplies including fresh meats, fruit and vegetables.
If not already stocked up for your holiday you may wish to visit Tesco Extra in Inverness, only two minutes off the route from the south, on the Aberdeen road. ( directions to Annat on contact page)
